Reverend Membe of the Church of Christ in Congo (ECC) revealed, Tuesday January 16, that “Laurent-Désiré Kabila is part of the school of King Josias”.
This Protestant pastor said this during a thanksgiving service, organized on the sidelines of 23 years of the assassination of Laurent-Désiré Kabila, at the Protestant Centenary Cathedral of Lingwala, in Kinshasa.
In his homily taken from the book 2 Kings 22: 1-2, Reverend Membe revealed that the late Laurent-Désiré Kabila was part of the school of King Josiah of the kingdom of Judah, between 639 and 609 BC.
For the Minister of Industry, Julien Paluku, the message from the late Laurent-Désiré Kabila must be capitalized on by everyone:
“The two (NLDR: Josias and Laurent-Désiré Kabila) have almost two important memories in common. The first is love for the nation, and the second memory is the refusal of anti-values and that of mediocrity which should be in the daily life of each of us.”

This commemoration ended with the laying of flower sprouts at the Mausoleum of the late President Lauren-Désiré Kabila, in the commune of Gombe, in Kinshasa.
