SAN FIOR. He pretended to be an employee of the INPS to have his house opened and rummaged freely. Then found the money, he yanked the elderly tenant making him fall to the ground and ran away. It happened in the early afternoon of today in San Fior di Sopra.
The victim is a ninety-year-old who had to resort to the treatment of the Conegliano hospital, due to the bruises and the blows suffered in the fall, but is in good condition.
The man rang his doorbell knowing full well that a helpless old man would be standing in front of him.
When the ninety-year-old appeared at the door, the attacker said he was an employee of INPS.
“I need to check some papers from your pension,” he would tell the victim. Then he was taken to the old man’s bedroom and after having stolen 2,500 euros, he pushed him, before running away.
Research in progress by the carabinieri.
