San Vendemiano, car flies into the Cervada stream dry: except for the driver

The Ford Focus this morning in the Cervada shore

The accident occurred during the night due to an incorrect maneuver, this morning the passersby gave the alarm noticing the vehicle on the river bed

SAN VENDEMIANO. A car ended up overturned in the Cervada stream, who saw it this morning was afraid that there was still someone inside. Several motorists raised the alarm today at dawn, seeing the vehicle crashed, near the motorway junction in via Ungheresca in San Vendemiano. Concerned, many passersby have tried to see if people were inside the old Ford Focus. But there were no people nearby either. Inside the car, on the other hand, various rubbish could be seen and there are those who hypothesized that the car had been abandoned on purpose. For the carabinieri, on the other hand, it is an autonomous escape from the road without injuries: it seems that the accident is the result of a wrong maneuver that took place during the night.

The vehicle rolled along the embankment near the bridge along the road between Cosniga and Saccon. The Focus, however, would not have fallen from via Ungheresca, but from the new cycle and pedestrian path on the Cervada. Someone took the river bank and, perhaps while trying to make a maneuver to get back on track, fell down. The car is as it were “lying” on the left side, it had no obvious signs caused by the accident. There it remained abandoned until this morning, when around 8 it was removed from a tow truck. The stream was devoid of water: whoever was driving was able to escape without difficulty and the recovery operations were therefore easy.
