The party committees and governments at all levels in our province attach great importance to the handling of complaints from the masses entrusted by the inspection team, adhere to the people-centered approach, personally grasp through the main leaders, in charge of the leaders in front of the organization, functional departments to grasp the implementation, and stationed in the city’s ecological and environmental protection inspection bureau. Supervise and verify measures to ensure that every letter and visit issue is handled and implemented. According to the work arrangement of the Central Ecological Environmental Protection Inspection Team, the handling situation is disclosed to the public and subject to public supervision.

On December 13, our province made public the first batch of 12 completed investigations and handling of public letters and visits by the third central ecological and environmental protection inspection team through the provincial government website and the website of the Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment. The public complaints related to Xi’an 9 in the city, 2 in Weinan, and 1 in Baoji. As of December 13, our province has received nine batches of 451 petitions from the people from the third central ecological and environmental protection inspection team, of which 50 are focused on. Letters and visits involved 12 cities (districts) and 1 provincial department, including 202 in Xi’an, 44 in Xianyang, 31 in Shangluo, 29 in Yulin, 28 in Hanzhong, 26 in Ankang, and 26 in Weinan. 22 cases, 18 cases in Baoji City, 15 cases in Hancheng City, 14 cases in Yan’an City, 13 cases in Tongchuan City, 8 cases in Yangling Demonstration Zone, and 1 case in provincial departments. In terms of types, 66 were water-related issues, 103 were air-related issues, 90 were soil-related issues, 70 were ecological issues, 2 were radiation issues, 81 were noise issues, and 39 were other pollution issues.
