RCEP came into effect on January 1 this year. Xi’an Foreign Trade and Economic Development Corporation exports more goods to RCEP member countries every year. The person in charge of the company’s visa said that there was no preferential tariff reduction policy for goods exported to Japan before. After the implementation of RCEP, according to Japan’s tariff reduction arrangement for China, the company’s goods exported to Japan will eventually achieve zero tariffs. In the first month of RCEP implementation, when Guanzhong Customs learned that the company had a batch of goods worth more than 2 million yuan to be exported to Japan, it immediately instructed the company to apply for more than 10 RCEP certificates of origin. Xi’an Customs introduced that RCEP came into effect on February 1 this year for South Korea. South Korea is Shaanxi’s largest trading partner.
