Shanghai: All districts and sub-districts do a good job of discharging and releasing medical observation personnel to go home and work without blocking or refusing them
This morning (April 11), Shanghai held a press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic to introduce the latest situation of epidemic prevention and control.
For discharged patients and those who have been released from medical isolation and observation, they must not be prevented from going home, but there are still cases of refusal to accept them. Jiang Rui, director of the Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau, responded that the following work will be done:
First of all, discharged patients and those who have been released from medical isolation are transported from each district through a closed loop, and sent back to their place of residence in a point-to-point safe manner. To this end, each district should identify special forces (that is, set up special work classes), conduct information contact and transfer with various medical institutions (especially makeshift hospitals), and at the same time guide the residential (village) committees and property management of the places where the discharged people live. The unit will do a good job of explaining and guiding the relevant residents to ensure that they are not blocked or rejected.
Secondly, discharged patients and those who are released from medical isolation and observation should implement 7-day home health monitoring. Those who are discharged from the hospital should live in a well-ventilated single room and share meals to reduce close contact with family members or co-occupants.
Jiang Rui emphasized that all districts, streets and towns should guide the relevant neighborhood (village) committees, and organize community volunteers to take the initiative to care for the daily life of discharged patients and those who have been released from medical isolation and observation, especially for the elderly living alone, the disabled, and Other people with special difficulties should strengthen material security and humanistic care, and try to help them solve the problems they encounter in their lives as soon as possible.
For some discharged patients and those who were released from medical isolation and observation who did not live in the community before admission, such as some migrant workers in Shanghai, bazaars and other related places, and other people living in groups, etc. Shanghai requires all districts, streets and towns to coordinate to help them return to their original places of work or residence normally, and implement 7-day health monitoring. The original unit of the migrant worker shall provide basic logistical services such as daily necessities and the delivery of three meals a day. For those discharged from the hospital who have no place to live due to the closure and control of the workplace, according to the principle of territoriality, each district and each relevant town is responsible for implementing the resettlement place.
