The Chinese stock market continues to decline and distrust of China is growing. Disappointed international – but also domestic – investors are withdrawing capital on a large scale. The CSI 300 index is particularly affected, having lost more than 40 percent of its value in the last three years.

The CSI 300 shows the price development of the 300 largest and most traded stocks in mainland China on the two largest stock exchanges in mainland China, Shanghai and Shenzhen. And the
Hang-Seng-China-Enterprises-Indexwhich tracks the share prices of 50 mainland Chinese companies traded in Hong Kong, even recorded losses of over 50 percent during this period.
