Strong convective weather hit Guangxi, with heavy to heavy rains in Guilin, Liuzhou, and other places

China Weather Network News reported today that several areas in Guilin, Liuzhou, Hezhou, and other locations in Guangxi experienced moderate to heavy rains, with some areas even facing heavy to heavy rainfall. Strong convective weather, including short-term thunderstorms and strong winds, accompanied the heavy downpour.

Yesterday, southwestern and southeastern Guangxi also saw significant rainfall, with areas experiencing short-term thunderstorms and strong winds.

Moving forward, the main precipitation area in Guangxi is expected to shift towards the northeast. The Guangxi Meteorological Observatory predicts that cities like Guilin, Liuzhou, and Hezhou will continue to experience moderate to heavy rains, with potential for heavy rainfall and strong convective weather. Other areas in the region may see cloudy skies with light rain and localized moderate rainfall.

The forecast for tomorrow indicates light to moderate rain, with potential for heavy rain in northern and eastern Guangxi. The following day may bring similar conditions, with light to moderate rain and the possibility of heavy rainfall in northeastern Guangxi.

Amidst the heavy rainfall and strong convective weather, the China Weather Network reminds farmers to enhance agricultural production management and be cautious of potential risks. Additionally, with the Qingming Festival approaching, the public is advised to take precautions against lightning strikes while participating in outdoor activities.
