Video from security cameras recorded the moment in which a young woman, apparently a university student, threw away her belongings and ran when she saw two robbers who stopped to commit a robbery against her.
The case happened in the Historic Center of Valledupar, specifically in Carrera 6, near the Purrututú alley and the University of Santander.
It should be noted that cases like this are not the first time that they have occurred in this sector, where in addition to being crowded by students and at the same time it is also lonely at midday.
In this area of the city that is residential, commercial and tourist, citizens have repeatedly complained about the continuous robberies of people, theft of gas meter counters and air conditioning tubes.
Given this situation, the call continues to be to the police and Mayor’s authorities to establish security plans that are effective against crime.
