What does the house have inside?
The house that is the subject of criticism has on its façade images of Caribbean and Pacific beaches and the motto in English: ‘Colombia, country of beauty.’ Inside the property it has tourist information about the country, something that the director of ProColombia, Carmen Caballero, defended, since, as she said, “other countries and companies in the world” also have “promotion showcases.”
The property will also host gastronomic tastings, cultural exhibitions, as well as meetings and discussions with potential investors, according to a statement from ProColombia. The house will be accompanied by a promotional vehicle parked on the main street of Davos.
It should be noted that the cost of renting the house for the four days of the World Economic Forum is 1.1 million dollars, which in Colombian pesos would be a little more than four billion pesos.
