However, the current division of labor among nurses is relatively rough. In many hospitals, nurses can be frequently transferred across departments and specialties, and there are very few nurses who work in a certain professional position for a long time. What needs to be practically avoided is that, corresponding to some nurses being “capable of any kind of nursing”, some nurses are “not proficient in any aspect” and so on.
From the perspective of patients, nurses are more general occupations, and the services they engage in are almost the same. However, in fact many categories of nursing have strong professionalism, such as interventional nursing, diabetes nursing, cranial surgery nursing, etc., not all nurses are competent. In the long run, it is imperative for nursing to take a professional development path.
“Nurses are too busy” has repeatedly become a hot topic in the industry. In order to alleviate this contradiction, reducing the workload of nurses, reducing the pressure of nurses, and increasing manpower are the direct means, while focusing on professional training and taking the path of professional development are important indirect means.
