Seventy-eight years ago the Special Court of the Social Republic, meeting in the premises of the Turin Assize Court, sentenced to death for “conspiracy against the State” eight members of the Military Committee of the Piedmont Region CLN, namely General Giuseppe Perotti, two of his officers and five “politicians”. During the trial and in front of the platoon, the condemned gave examples of extraordinary courage and pride.
