In the hands of seven women and six men, the regional hospitals of the department of Boyacá remain after several days after the call for departmental managers carried out the process of strict review of resumes and interview processes, among 55 candidates.
During the appointment, Governor Carlos Amaya asked the new managers to work wholeheartedly, with love and respect, for each farmer who receives health services. This, in order to continue humanizing and improving the sector in the department.
He also asked them to be efficient and transparent in the use of public resources, reducing input and administrative costs. Likewise, the governor asked them to buy all the medicines, or the vast majority from the Coosboy cooperative, for the same purpose.
The best resumes, selected for having met all the requirements and passed the selection phases, are:
1. Germán Francisco Pertuz González, who will continue as manager of the San Rafael de Tunja Hospital. He has been at the head of this important medical center in the department for a little over a year and has done outstanding work at its head.
Pertuz is a dentist, specialist in Hospital Management, with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He has worked in the private and public sectors, standing out in this for having been a great Secretary of Health for the people of Boyacá.
Among the main tasks, he will have to carry out the Maternal and Child Unit and the High Complexity Tower.
2. Jairo Mauricio Santoyo, new manager of the Duitama Regional Hospital, is He is a doctor, lawyer, specialist in health auditing and a master’s degree in Business Administration.
Santoyo was Secretary of Health in 2020 and 2021 and stood out because from there he faced the pandemic with nationally recognized results.
3. Lifan Mauricio Camacho, new manager of the Sogamoso Regional Hospital, is a doctor and specialist in hospital management.
Camacho was a deputy to the Assembly and had been working with great achievements as manager of the Duitama Hospital.
4. Ana Maritza Dávila Barón, new manager of the Moniquirá Regional Hospital, is a respiratory therapist, specialist in Institutional Health Management, with a master’s degree in Administration.
She was an auditor and verifier in the department’s health secretariat for nine years, as well as manager of the ESE of Sutamarchán in two periods, giving excellent health results.
5. Nelson Ulloa Calvo, new manager of the Puerto Boyacá Hospital, is a dentist, specialist in Hospital Management and a master’s degree in Business Administration.
Ulloa was scientific assistant manager at the San Rafael Hospital in Tunja, this being the most recent position that accredits him with extensive experience and a great resume.
6. Juliana del Pilar Cortázar Murillo, manager of the Chiquinquirá Regional Hospital, continues in her position.
The dentist, a specialist in Health Administration, with a Master’s Degree in Social Protection, remains a manager thanks to her outstanding work over the last two years.
7. Luisa Fernanda Aranguren Barón, new manager of the Soatá Regional Hospital, is a surgical instrument technician, specialist in health auditing, and Manager of Health Institutions.
8. Jesús Antonio Salamanca Torres, new manager of the Hospital del Valle de Tenza, is a public accountant and specialist in Health Management.
Salamanca, a professional with extensive experience in the sector, has the task of continuing to strengthen the Hospital as has been done since 2016, when the first Amaya Government managed to recover and move forward.
9. Giovanni Quintero Téllez, new manager of the Cubará Hospital, is a doctor specializing in Health Audit. In addition, he was manager of the CRIB.
10. Zulma Estupiñán, new manager of the Turmequé Hospital, is a bacteriologist, a specialist in management of Social Security institutions in Health and health auditing, and has a master’s degree in Strategic Health Management.
11. Olga Patricia Mejía Vargas, new manager of the San Luis de Gaceno Hospital, is a nurse specialist in Health Institutions.
Thanks to your experience and knowledge of the sector, the strengthening of the health of the province will be guaranteed.
12. Clara Roció Vera Vallejo, new manager of the Miraflores Hospital, is a physiotherapist, specialist in health audit. Among others, she was Administrative Director of the Boyacá Health Secretariat.
13. Diana Catalina Delgado Jiménez, new manager of the Boyacá Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center – CRIB -, which in this four-year period will be fundamental in all provinces for the promotion of mental health.
Delgado is a dentist, specialist in Management of Health Institutions and has a Master’s Degree in Business Management and Administration.
These thirteen professionals and prepared managers will then have the task of advancing the health sector in the department, with articulated work, and above all, providing quality of life to the people of Boyacá.
