Vivo Set to Launch New X100s Series Models in May
According to reports from GSMArena, vivo is gearing up to unveil its latest X100s series models in May this year. The renderings of the upcoming phone have already been leaked, giving us a sneak peek at what to expect.
The X100s series is said to feature a new right-angled frame design, a departure from the curved style seen in the previous generation X100. Sources familiar with the matter have revealed that the series will include three versions – the standard version, the Pro version, and the top-of-the-line Ultra version.
From the leaked images, it is evident that the phone sports a right-angled frame with a textured finish and a slightly curved 2.5D back glass. The lens module boasts four lenses with knurling adornments. The phone will continue the X100’s notable lens specifications, offering a 15mm ultra-wide angle, a 70mm periscope telephoto, and a 50-megapixel f/1.6 main camera, covering a focal length range of 15-70mm.
Despite its impressive specs, the X100s series will maintain a slim body thickness of just 7.89mm. The series is expected to be available in four colors – white, black, cyan, and titanium gold. The standard version is said to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor, while the top version will likely feature the upgraded Dimensity 9300+ processor with a higher frequency Cortex-X4 core (3.4GHz).
The pricing for the X100s series is estimated to start around 3,999 yuan, mirroring that of its predecessor. While the X100 series was previously exclusive to the Chinese market, it remains to be seen whether the X100s series will be launched internationally.
