TREVISO. The proposals for new orders have quintupled in two years but those that have been possible to sign have not been more than 18% compared to the 2019 portfolio and all this due to a lack of adequate manpower.

These figures are disclosed by Euroedile, a scaffolding company in Paese (Treviso) which continues to spread offers for the recruitment of expert personnel, however managing to integrate less than half of the figures sought into the workforce, often due to the unwillingness of candidates to move from outside the region. .

Thus, also thanks to the acceleration of construction works triggered by the 110% Ecobonus, in 2021 Euroedile received requests for services from 3,090 construction sites, compared to 699 two years ago, but to these it could only give a minimal response, obtaining in any case a more than proportional increase in turnover (20 million expected at the end of the year compared to 13 two years ago).

Today the employment base has 160 employees, compared to 100 in 2019, but the search for new figures – from surveyors to electronic experts, from construction workers to scaffolding assemblers – remains difficult.

A few days ago the company had published recruitment proposals on social networks for about thirty workers with various degrees of experience but the CVs received are less than a third.
