In breaking news, Cairo News Channel revealed that the Egyptian authorities succeeded in bringing journalist Wael Al-Dahdouh from the Gaza Strip into the country.

The head of the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate, Khaled Al-Balshi, reported that the syndicate will prepare a file to nominate colleague Wael Al-Dahdouh for the International Courage Award, which is organized by UNESCO, in addition to the syndicate’s previously announced award.

Al-Balshi added, during his speech as part of the activities of “Solidarity Day with the Palestinian People, 100 Days of Aggression… Stop the War… Prosecute the War Criminals”: ​​Today we are completing the activities that the union began in solidarity with the steadfast Palestinian people, who showed valor and courage in defending themselves. And his land, thanking South Africa for what it presented before the International Court of Justice.

The Egyptian Journalists Syndicate said: “The Egyptian Journalists Syndicate extends its thanks to the Egyptian state and the competent authorities for responding to the Syndicate’s request to facilitate the entry of our colleague Wael Al-Dahdouh into Egypt to receive treatment. The Syndicate contacted Al-Dahdouh after his arrival on the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing to check on him.”

Al-Dahdouh thanked the Egyptian state, all Egyptian journalists, and the Syndicate Council for their support for him and the Palestinian cause. He also thanked his colleagues on Al-Jazeera for their support for him, indicating that he would go abroad to complete his treatment.

The Egyptian Syndicate stresses its continued demands to stop the Zionist aggression against Palestine and prosecute the Zionist war criminals. It thanks all the Egyptian state agencies and those who made an effort to help in the case of Wael Al-Dahdouh and treat the wounded Palestinians.
