January 14 is the 150th anniversary of the birth of the poet from Tonara

SASSARI. To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of the great Peppino Mereu, the student choir of Sassari has decided to publish on its youtune channel its version of Nanneddu meu, performed by the same student choir Città di Sassari with the vocal ensemble Nova Euphonia (both choirs are directed by maestro Vincenzo Cossu), on the occasion of the fourth edition of the Festival of Beauties at the park of the Petroglyphs of Cheremule last July 3, as a tribute by the young people of Sardinia to the poet of Tonara.
