Changzhou Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection Holds Plenary Session
On February 7, the Fourth Plenary Session of the 13th Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection was held in Changzhou. The focus of the session was to comprehensively study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the third plenary session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
The meeting was attended by Municipal Party Committee Secretary Chen Jinhu, Mayor Sheng Lei, and other leaders of the city’s four teams. The session was presided over by Li Wenhong, Secretary of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Director of the Municipal Supervisory Committee.
Chen Jinhu emphasized the importance of understanding and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on the party’s self-revolution. He pointed out that this year is a critical year for completing the goals and tasks of the “14th Five-Year Plan” and for Changzhou to start anew as a trillion-dollar city. He stressed the significance of comprehensively and strictly governing the party and urged the city to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on the Party’s self-revolution.
The session also focused on building a joint management responsibility system, deepening political supervision, and maintaining a high-pressure posture in punishing corruption. It was discussed how to strengthen governance at the source and establish a diligent and honest orientation.
Li Wenhong delivered a work report on “In-depth study and implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on the Party’s self-revolution, and in-depth advancement of high-quality development of discipline inspection and supervision work in the new journey, providing a strong guarantee for striving to write a Chinese-style modernization Changzhou answer sheet”.
The meeting was conducted in the form of a video conference, with branch venues set up in each municipality (district) and Changzhou Economic Development Zone. The main responsible comrades of the Municipal Court and Municipal Procuratorate, as well as the main responsible comrades of relevant municipal departments and units also attended the meeting at the main venue.
The session provided a strong framework for implementing strategies to ensure the integrity and high-quality development of Changzhou as it continues to strive towards Chinese-style modernization.
