I remember the recent and enormous effort for the Aquila Omnia operation which saw the evacuation of a few thousand Afghans from Kabul with the dedication of the entire defense sector. What distinguishes us is the ability to work as a team, together, united, compact, and also the balance, awareness, aptitude for collaboration and listening for a common goal. The anniversary event is an opportunity to share values and passion and is also a symbolic rebirth that sees the united forces and law enforcement, institutions, prefecture, civil protection ».
The history of Pan is anchored in the region and she is the “Friulian commander”. An important link?
“It is an indissoluble bond. The 60 years of Pan are 60 years of union with the Fvg. It was born in Rivolto and the regional territory was the cradle of the origins and experiments of the armed force that has the 1st Wing in the 1920s in Campoformido ».

«It is configured as a risk, basically inherent in every activity, which the more complex it is, the more it requires skills. The important thing is to have the parameters clear, to know how to mitigate and deal with them by orchestrating training, knowledge, a reliable means, excellent technicians, controllers, professional and passionate staff ».
He has more than 4,000 flight hours to his credit. Remember the first solo?
«I remember the awe and fascination for flying that attracted me since I was a child. The first flight is never forgotten! In Campoformido, in 1989, thanks to a scholarship won with the Malignani Institute of Udine. You will land after training with the instructor. When I was about to turn off the plane he stopped my hand, told me to walk around by myself and got out. I took off very happy, but then, once in flight, I realized that I also had to land. A real emotion that has become passion ».
