Stopped for years, the group met to resume planning the interventions to be implemented in the coming months in Valle d’Aosta

Six years after the last meeting, the interinstitutional group on disability returned to meet on Friday at the Regional Palace. On the agenda the reconstitution of the work table of the subjects that compose it and the sharing of the programmatic lines to be implemented in the coming months in Valle d’Aosta.

The group is made up of the representatives of five regional departments, starting with that of Health, Health and Social Policies, the Local Health Authority, the Permanent Council of Local Authorities, the Valle d’Aosta Disability Coordination and the National Coordination of Families with Disabilities.

“After several years of absence”, comments the regional health councilor in a note, “we have finally managed to put the various subjects around the table who, in a coordinated way, will work to implement projects and initiatives aimed at offering opportunities and services to people with disabilities, in terms of work, education, social life and leisure. Particular attention will also be given to the needs of their families ».
