The Italy of inflation: record increases in the South, more expensive cities in the North

The most important item – and not only in the northern regions, where the climate is less clement – relates to energy costs: they are triple-digit increases at all latitudes, due to the increase in gas prices, which also the electricity bill. The higher gas costs have a cascade effect on consumer goods, as well as on food: in the first case, they affect production costs, in the second, on transport costs.
