Given the controversy generated on social networks after the revelation of the winner of the contest for select the official poster of the 63rd Bambuco Festival in San Juan and San Pedro, The Huila Culture Secretariat announced the suspension of the process.

The decision was officially communicated by the Government of Huila, who reported that the selection and publication process of the festival’s promotional poster has been suspended, pending analysis and consultations with experts on the subject. The objective is to seek greater consensus to guarantee that the event’s promotional proposal is consistent with the criteria and conditions of the original call.

The previously selected design, titled ‘Magical and Cultural Heritage’ and created by Reynell Llanos, faced criticism on social media, especially regarding the graphics and some design details.

Now, it is expected that the process will be subject to analysis and consultations with experts on the subject, in order to make a final decision regarding the official poster. of the Bambuco Festival in San Juan and San Pedro.
