Thieves in action between Sunday 10 and Monday 11 July in the Lower Friuli area, between Torviscosa, Latisana and San Giorgio di Nogaro. Overall, the criminals did damage for about 24,500 euros.
Let’s go in order. On Sunday someone managed to break into a house in Torviscosa and, looking in cupboards and drawers, found and then stole a diamond ring worth seven thousand euros.
The landlady, an eighty-year-old, reported the incident to the carabinieri and, to have windows and locks repaired, she will have to spend about three thousand euros.
On Monday afternoon, moreover, a bad surprise for a pensioner from San Giorgio di Nogaro who, on her return, found the rooms in disorder and signs of forcing on the windows. At the end of an initial check, the woman then found the shortage of gold jewelry for an estimated value of ten thousand euros.
The fact was reported to the carabinieri of the country. The thieves, most likely, had acted a few hours earlier by taking advantage of the fact that there was no one in the apartment.
Another theft was carried out on the same Monday morning in Latisana, again in the same way as those used in Torviscosa and San Giorgio di Nogaro.
Victim was a woman who was stolen precious and cash for about 4,500 euros. All three episodes are being investigated by the military forces.
