The authorities were notified of a young man who was wandering around the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Quibdó in a suspicious manner.
A unit of the Carabineros Mobile Squadron moved to attend to the case.
Upon arriving at the scene, they noticed that the young man began to flee. However, he was caught up by the authorities. When a personal search was carried out, a 9 millimeter mini Ingram submachine gun with two cartridges was found in his possession.
The 18-year-old was captured, and his firearm was seized. He was placed at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office.
