Thuringia: False insolvency administrators defraud companies

According to the police, the perpetrators contacted the company by email in February as alleged insolvency administrators. They offered goods at special prices. The company owner accepted the offer and transferred an amount in the lower five-figure range. But the ordered goods never arrived. The police recommend checking all information and offers – even from supposedly reputable senders.
