A reward of $10 million was announced by the governor of Meta, Rafaela Cortés Zambrano, for anyone who provides information that allows the capture of the person responsible for the sexual abuse of 7 animals, in the municipality of Cumaral.
“We are asking the authorities to quickly identify the cause of this aberrant case. It really is depressing what we are seeing, that is why we offer this million-dollar reward so that the community can quickly inform us, and, in this way, ensure that the author of this act of cruelty is captured.”assured the leader of the Metenses, who, after learning of this fact, convened an Extraordinary Rewards Committee, where the amount for this purpose was defined and approved.
Visibly upset by this case of bestiality, the Governor stated: “Here is not only our rejection, but also calling the authorities so that this fact does not go unpunished”. The situation of these animals highlights the importance of surveillance and community action against animal abuse. and the need to apply existing laws to prevent future cases.
Finally, the president reiterated the call to local authorities to arrest the person responsible for this case that generated commotion among the inhabitants of Cumaral.
