Three people were killed in the traffic accident registered in the jurisdiction of the municipality of San Diego, Cesar, after the collision of a truck with a public service car that covered the La Jagua de Ibirico-Valledupar route.

According to the report from the traffic and transportation section of the Police in Cesar, the public transport vehicle was license plate C;Q-565, driven by José Antonio Gómez Suarez, 58 years old, who died at the scene after the strong impact, which dragged the car to a concrete post.

Traveling with him was Leydis Johana Caviedes Avendaño, 33, who also died at the scene.

Teddy Pérez Caviedes was also mobilized, who was injured and suffered multiple trauma to different parts of the body, for which he was sent to the Codazzi Hospital.

As for the van, it was established that it had license plates SZA-132, white in color, whose driver left the site and it is unknown to the authorities if he has any type of injury since in the hospitals and clinics in the area has not been found. It is presumed that this was the one that caused the accident by invading the opposite lane and speeding.

David Rangel Ochoa, 56, was traveling in this vehicle, who died after suffering multiple trauma after the strong impact.

The other vehicle involved was a motorcycle with license plate LBG-79G, which was driven by Daniel Álvarez Corredor García, 28, who collided with one of the aforementioned when the accident occurred unexpectedly. This young man suffered multiple trauma to different parts of the body and multiple lacerations, for which he was taken to the Codazzi Hospital.

To rescue the bodies, the presence of the Fire Department of the municipality of La Paz was necessary, as well as criminalistics officials from the traffic and transportation section.
