Vallenata showgirl Berenice de la Cruz died

In the Laura Daniela clinic, Berenice de la Cruz, a Vallenata showgirl for important groups in the region, died in the last few hours. The artist was affected by kidney failure and pancreatitis, pathologies that took her urgently to the healthcare center, as confirmed by her relatives.

The young artist was confined in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) since last week after experiencing abdominal pain that complicated her clinical condition.

Berenice de la Cruz was a chorus singer for the groups of Miguel Morales, Jorge Oñate and recently accompanied Deimer Marín, who won the unpublished song contest of the National Vallenata Music Composers Festival of San Juan del Cesar in La Guajira.

She was the sister of the singer Indira de la Cruz, director of Sayco and niece of the late singer Adalberto Ariño.
