Unlike then, however, the territorial cohesion of Verbano has given way to the political distinction. This initiative is of the center-left majority council and the representatives of the center-right will not be there: they also deserted the conference of the group leaders with which the convocation was decided. However, both sides – now that they are dealing with a health structure revolutionized by the pandemic – declare themselves in support of the strengthening of the hospital in Verbania.

The councilors who have their spokesperson in Giandomenico Albertella aim for a health organization based on tripolarity. They therefore consider the item on the agenda “the functionality of the Castelli hospital, assistance of contracted doctors, local services: state of affairs and expectations of the population” as an instrumental attack on the Region on the eve of the provincial elections.
The open invitation to the City Council was also sent to the President of the Region Alberto Cirio, the Councilor for Health Luigi Icardi, to the local parliamentarians and to the Regional Councilor Alberto Preioni.

The open assembly is aimed at all citizens (fourth pandemic wave permitting) and an articulated audience ranging from union representatives to parish priests, from trade associations of the productive world to mayors of the band that goes from Belgirate to Cannobio.
