In Puerto Araujo, Santander, Alias Ferley González was captured, who is accused, among other things, of fleeing with money from the 10th front of the FARC, of which he was a financier, in events that occurred in 2022.
According to information from the authorities, this subject identified as Fabian Guevara Carrascal, has committed crimes in Meta, Nariño, Magdalena Medio and Arauca, where he had marked differences with his superiors in the ranks of the FARC dissidents, a situation that ended in the creation of his own front.
On January 28, 2024, the captured man, who had more than 11 arrest warrants in force, announced on social networks the formation of the 12th front with interference in the departments of Santander, part of eastern Antioquia and southern Bolivar.
On March 15, 8 days later, González was captured while traveling in a refrigerated truck along the Magdalena Medio, at Km 64 of the Rio Ermitaño – La Lizama road, in front of the Puerto Araujo Police Substation. He carried a false identity document, with which he lived and moved throughout the territory.
Alias Ferley González, who was left in the hands of justice, will have to answer for the crimes of conspiracy to commit a crime, forced displacement, kidnapping and extortion, events that occurred in the department of Arauca.
