Drawing tools and templates can be used to illustrate and communicate ideas. Customizable components help with visual planning, for example by visualizing priorities and workflows. And all of this happens in a team, because as with editing pages, any number of users can work on a board at the same time.
Turn ideas into actionable processes and display them on a whiteboard
Good ideas are the basis of successful initiatives, but these ideas do not come to life on their own. But how do you start preparing for implementation from the brainstorming phase – and even in the form of operationalized processes, without having to leave the whiteboard? The solution is called Jira integration – so the whole thing becomes a matter of just a few clicks.
Because digital sticky notes and any other objects can be easily transformed into Jira tickets and integrated into project management from the board. Is there an object that depends on another team? Dependency relationships between tasks can even be mapped on the whiteboard, which are then automatically transferred to Jira. This operationalization involves, among other things, assigning tasks to team members. On the canvas, this can be done in one step – for several processes at once. For example, bulk actions can be used to define owners, set completion dates, add labels and more.

Context switching occurs due to applications that are not linked to each other. This in turn quickly leads to distraction – and thus inefficiency. The Confluence whiteboards help to avoid such context switching because they can be easily integrated with other tools and functions.
Confluence pages, Jira tickets, Loom videos and other Atlassian-based content can be embedded directly into whiteboards and edited from there. Third-party solutions can also be integrated into whiteboards: The relevant information can also be integrated into the board using links from Figma, Google and other providers. The whiteboards also provide valuable context: the team can make them available on any Confluence pages and Jira issues and see changes there in real time.
