BELLUNO. “Full confidence in all my councilors.” Renewed by the mayor Jacopo Massaro, less than a year after the elections, in the council in which Franco Roccon asked for the head of Marco Perale for «manifest administrative inability to manage such an important role for the city».
The spark was the postponement of the exhibition on Titian, but Roccon also blames Perale other. In particular, failing to “bring out the chief town in that natural role of cultural leader, nor to generate a team role such as to make the cultural sector grow as a driving force for the administrative life of the city”.

There is no joking with the pandemic, ”said Massaro. “I also remember that some events that took place in the province have ignited outbreaks and restarted the infections. So let’s do what we can do, respecting the current situation ».
“This administration has always worked by enhancing the team,” he added. “This does not mean that there is no confrontation, even a close one, but we have always brought the results home together, as demonstrated by the numerous tenders we have won, bringing several million euros to Belluno. “In my seven years in Gsp, for six and a half I have not received a euro,” Roccon retorted. Convinced that Perale is not doing a good job, so much so that he wants to turn the topical question into an agenda, to put the councilor in the next council to a vote.
CHANGES IN THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
The board, once again meeting in presence in the Bianchi room, then dealt with the change in the general adjustment to the budget. A maneuver, illustrated by Deputy Mayor Lucia Olivotto, with which important resources are allocated for the maintenance of cemeteries, roads, public lighting, sidewalks and schools (400 thousand euros), 92 thousand euros to renew the fleet of the Municipality, contributions for the sport, culture (financed Beyond the Summits with 35 thousand euros), families in difficulty. Professional assignments for planning are also financed: “We will have to set up an office dedicated to this issue, in order to be able to make the best use of the funds that will arrive with the PNRR”, highlighted Olivotto.
THE DEBATE
The Democratic Party with Paolo Bello presented an agenda to ask to start a new phase of support for families, introducing a Belluno quotient and committing the unused resources for the exhibition on Titian precisely for this sector. Accepted the amendment proposed by Walter Cibien to insert the expression “evaluate further measures”, “because if there is an administration that has placed so much attention on social issues, it is this one,” said the group leader of In Movimento. “Of course, you can always do better.”
Instead, the judgment of the center-right opposition is critical, worried about the costs of urban regeneration works, which are rising and for the 186 thousand euros that will have to be spent for maintenance on the bailey bridge: “There were nine years to build a new bridge, so we could have saved this money ”, added Addamiano.
The change passed with the abstention of the Mixed Group and the Democratic Party and the center-right vote against.
