Recently, Siming District announced the start of construction projects in the second quarter of 2021, involving the Dongping Mountain Forest Reconstruction Project, Siming District Wastewater “Two Highs” Construction Project, Tapu Community Development Land (Ziyun Shangcheng) Project, Houjiang Primary School 19 projects including the first phase of the planned roads in the surrounding areas and the Siming Cinema Renovation and Upgrade Project cover industries, infrastructure, social and people’s livelihoods, with a total investment of over 4.7 billion yuan.
The reporter learned that the Dongping Mountain Forest Reconstruction Project includes replanting broad-leaved forests under forests, renovating biological fire protection forest belts, and creating flower sea forests. The renovation area is about 4595.1 mu, and it is planned to be completed by the end of 2021. After the transformation is completed, a linear forest landscape belt with one scenery and flowers in all seasons will be formed on both sides of the Dongping Mountain Healthy Trail and 4 main roads.

The sewage “two highs” construction project is mainly divided into five projects including the official pilot area, the drainage port, Gulangyu, and the pipeline network transformation of the south and north shore areas of Yundang Lake. The renovation project of the Guanren pilot area is about 0.3 square kilometers. It entered the site for construction in October last year and has now been completed. Currently, the handover of drainage management into the community is being promoted. The reconstruction area of the south and north shore areas of Yundang Lake is about 53.09 square kilometers.
