Xi’an University of Science and Technology Establishes New Productivity Research Center
Xi’an University of Science and Technology has taken a significant step towards promoting new productivity by establishing a research center dedicated to this cause. The initiative comes after the Chinese government outlined plans for boosting productivity across various sectors.
The New Productivity Research Center of Xi’an University of Science and Technology was officially inaugurated at a ceremony held on March 3 at the Yanta Campus. The center will focus on areas such as digitalization, intelligence, and greening, in line with the national agenda for achieving carbon neutrality.
Lai Xingping, the president of Xi’an University of Science and Technology, emphasized the university’s role in driving technological innovation and supporting the development of new quality productivity. He highlighted the institution’s commitment to serving the local community and contributing to achieving national strategic goals.
The Research Center aims to play a pivotal role in advancing new productivity by focusing on theoretical interpretation, talent training, scientific and technological innovation, and achievement transformation. Additionally, the center will collaborate with domestic and foreign universities, research institutions, enterprises, and governments to drive innovation and development.
President Lai Xingping urged the team at the Research Center to work diligently towards achieving influential research results and practical outcomes. He emphasized the importance of showcasing the value and impact of new technologies through tangible performance.
Xi’an University of Science and Technology, jointly established by the Ministry of Emergency Management of China and the Shaanxi Provincial Government, serves as a crucial hub for talent training and scientific innovation in the energy and safety sectors in western China.
