“The main battle in 2024 will be in the rooms of engineers and manufacturers of strike drones. Trends where the UAV industry is headed and where we have to outplay the enemy:
First. These are night and thermal imaging cameras on fpv strike drones. Whoever will have more of them and who will create a better quality of their use at night will get the advantage.
The main movement of the orcs at night: rotation of infantry, movement of equipment, support of BC.
At night, the enemy feels more comfortable.
Our main task is to bind the enemy in the afternoon.
Some Ukrainian units are already working on night cameras. We are also preparing to conduct operations at night. But night cameras on fpv are already used by the enemy.
Whoever will be the first to use high-precision night weapons on a large scale will have a significant advantage.
The second is homing drone on a target, where the drone hits the target due to auto-guidance.
Now a number of manufacturers are already testing a similar system, we haven’t tested it yet, but I think the first fpv drones with automatic guidance will be on the battlefield already in the spring.
The third is swarms of drones.
In fact, it sometimes is. When a target appears, drones fly from different directions, and crews compete among themselves to hit first.
But there will also be such solutions where one unit will use a swarm of drones at once — 6-8 units. Moreover, another Great drone “mother” will be able to carry them out, which will release the “children” into battle and return for other children, while the little one will burn the orcs.
The fourth is secure communication.
The main chess on the battlefield takes place precisely with communication. Enemy EW is trying to suppress our drones. The advantage will be given to the one who can make a decision with a connection that does not suppress the enemy reb.
Whoever implements these ideas will get better and more efficient use of successful UAVs. But there is a very important nuance! as practice shows, the main success is not in technological solutions, but in the ability to mass and quickly produce the best products.
If creativity, intelligence and experiments are our advantage. Mass application is the advantage of the enemy. They steal ideas from us and put them on stream.
There are many examples in history when the one who developed an interesting solution first loses to the one who was able to put this solution on the assembly line.
Which, by the way, is the phenomenon of China.
What did the Chinese invent first? — video cameras, TVs, drones or electric cars — probably nothing. But the leaders in terms of production, almost a code unit of technology, are now China.
Therefore, our main task is to be ready to immediately put all technological solutions on mass production.
This is what we are worried about at the front. So that we do not lose the war in the engineering rooms and do not sleep for a moment when the state urgently needs to make a decision regarding the purchase of better technologies from our manufacturers”he wrote.
