At the Scuderie Baroni first stage of the 2021 Italian Attacks Group Trophy, race valid for the Italian Amateur Attacks Cup and the awarding of the Francesco Mattavelli Trophy

The first stage of the 2021 Italian Attacks Group Trophy, valid for the Italian Amateur Attacks Cup and the assignment of the Francesco Mattavelli Trophy, started on Sunday 16 May in Cascina Grecia at the Scuderie Baroni in Cuceglio.
Two heats disputed, with 32 bouts entered divided into the categories tandem horses, single pony, single horse, pair of pony, pair of horses and single heavy throw. The Canavese people did well, many of them in fact excelled in the category to which they belong. Roberto Viretto and Simonetta Zancanaro di Pavone win in the spectacular tandem attack. Excellent first place for Valeria Nicolotti, Pavone, in the single pony category; Andrea Leonarduzzi of San Martino, stands out among the individual horses, in the same category in the race also Francesco Manzone, Feletto, Gian Marco Cavana, San Martino, Mario Mautino, Rivarolo, and Roberto Viretto, Pavone. In the pairs of horses, the Eporediese Michele Bonsanto second, Piergiorgio Autino, from Ivrea, is eighth, Mario Mautino of Rivarolo is ninth.
The competition was held behind closed doors and not open to the public, the races will now continue with the second and third stages which will take place at the Scuderie San Giorgio in Verolanuova, Brescia, on May 23 and June 6, while the final will be held on June 20 at Cascina Vittoria in La Mandria, Turin. The Italian Cup dinale will take place in Assisi, in mid-September. –
