A life as a gentleman at the Rally Bellunese. Dominate all three special stages

by admin

Second place for Bravi and Bertoldi on Hyundai while Lovisetto and Cracco finish third with Skoda Fabia

Dominators in all three trials, practically from start to finish. Marco Signor with Cesiolino co-driver Patrick Bernardi left no way out for highly rated rivals, conquering the top step of the podium in the 36th Rally Bellunese. In fact this is the fourth time that the crew has won first place in this competition. From the first two tests, the Sama Racing duo gave a show, winning both.

In the special stage of Lentiai, as in that of Cesio, the Volkswagen Polo of the WRC 2016 tricolors made a void, beating the Friulians Bravi-Bertoldi and the Spagnolla-Bardini from Vicenza. The latter, in the last test, right in the last passage on the final “Melere”, went off the road, giving the green light to the Lovisetto – Cracco couple.

Bernardi and Signor, on the other hand, were also confirmed in the third test. In the end it was a race in which the uncertainty of the weather, as the tradition of this event dictates, added pepper to a contest that from a sporting point of view was enhanced by the tracks of the three special stages “Lentiai”, “Cesio” and “Melere”, selective and stimulating with the typical mountain roads and some sharp bends that ennoble the routes. Local pilots did not look disfigured. Fabrizio Paris and Silvia Mosena, the first Belluno crew at the finish, won the prize dedicated to the memory of the late Maurizio Da Lan, delivered on the arrival stage by their daughter Elena. The all-Belluno podium in Class A6 with the Madalozzo – Bogo, Corso – Taverna and Burigo-Da Rold crews had a particular effect. Consalter – Cosner and Curto-Pizzol also showed off in the K10 Class. In N1 Devis Bernardi with Rienzi Bernardi totaled a good time. Lorenzo Micheletto and Riccardo Mele triumphed in N2 on Peugeot 106, setting the best time in class in all seven special stages of the rally.

In the same class, third place was conquered by the Orioli-Del Missier couple. In the other classes, Busin-Fenti, Vettoretto-Silvi and Capraro-De Col took the podium. Particularly impressive was the award ceremony in the industrial area of Lentiai with the presence of the president of the province Roberto Padrin and the mayors of the municipalities involved.
