Chinese Swimmers Dominate 2024 World Championships
The 17-day 2024 World Swimming Championships concluded in Doha, Qatar, with the Chinese team ranking double in the gold medal list and medal list. The Chinese team secured a total of 23 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals, clinching the top spot in both the gold medal list and the overall medal list. The results certainly gave the team confidence as they prepare for the upcoming Paris Olympics.
The Chinese swimming team, led by Olympic champion Li Bingjie and men’s freestyle rookie Pan Zhanle, delivered a stellar performance, winning a total of 7 golds, 3 silvers, and 1 bronze. Pan Zhanle set a new world record in the men’s 100-meter freestyle relay and emphasized the importance of daring to think and fight to win championships.
