Despite a defeat, the giants Ludwigsburg reached the quarterfinals of the Basketball Champions League.
The MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg basketball players have reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League ahead of schedule. Although the Bundesliga team lost 91:93 (42:54) at Galatasaray Istanbul on Tuesday, they can no longer be pushed out of the top two places in Group J thanks to the direct comparison won after the 100:80 in the first leg. In the knockout round, the best eight clubs will fight in a best-of-three format in April for participation in the Final Four.
Jayvon Graves supports the MHP giants
The hosts led at times with 16 points (41:25/13th minute). In order to win the direct comparison, the Ludwigsburg team only had to lose by 19 points. The guests quickly made everything clear with a good run, even if they were no longer able to turn the game around completely. Top scorer Graves had 26 points.
