Conquered the PalaDozza of Bologna with a great match of Mascolo (21 points) and Jp Macura (22)

BOLOGNA. The Bertram conquers the PalaDozza of Bologna, scrambling the Fortitudo and winning the second consecutive victory, which allows the Piedmontese to grab the third place in the standings. The first quarter was decisive, when Tortona, with tank in attack, made no mistakes (5/6 from 2 points and 7/10 from three) and with an aggressive and intense defense he blocked any initiative from the hosts. Led by Mascolo, with a relentless Macura, supported under the planks by Daum and a present Sanders, Bertram has always been able to respond to every attempt by Fortitudo to get back into the game. In the last fourth moment of maximum effort with Bologna at -10, Mascolo, Macura and Sanders responded punctually by closing the match.

Bertram begins with a man defense that takes away space and breath from the Bolognese, who suffer from the rhythm imposed by a great Mascolo. The first extension is signed by Mascolo himself and by Sanders (8 – 13, at 3 ‘). Coach Martino calls the minute but the Bolognese attacks crash against the Bertran man, in attack he is a basket machine (8 – 19, 5 ‘). Tortona fights on every ball and defends aggressively with anyone who enters, Fortitudo remains five minutes without scoring. A free from Totè unlocks the scoreboard, but in the meantime Bertran runs (9 – 24, 8 ‘). Bologna gets in the even front area, but Filloy continues the work started by Mascolo and when Tavernelli puts the triple from the corner Tortona flies (15 – 32, 10 ‘). It starts with a triple from Aradori, but it is a flash in the pan, because Filloy and Cannon respond with strength. Coach Ramondino rotates the players, but the result does not change, reaching the maximum advantage with Mascolo against the zone (22 – 44, 16 ‘). Fortitudo has a reaction of pride, taking advantage of a drop in the defensive intensity of the Tortonesi (34 – 48, 19 ‘). Mascolo’s final basket, however, puts things back in place (34 – 51, 20 ‘).

It starts again with Tortona who places a partial of 2 – 9 which gives the maximum advantage of the match (36 – 62, 28 ‘). Every time Bologna tries to give it more immediate intensity, Bertram’s response. Daum crushes the + 24a and Martino also takes a technician to try to shake his team. Macura is a scoring machine and is the author of the most beautiful basket of the game: assist behind the back of Filloy for a dunk (48 – 71, 28 ‘). Fortitudo starts again aggressive and Tortona after two minutes is already in the bonus, so the Bolognese place a partial 13-0 (65-75, 33 ‘). Tortona misses everything in attack and in defense he cannot put intensity on pain of a trip to the Fortitudo line. The turning point is Mascolo from the line, Macura from three and Sanders from two (65 – 81, 35 ‘). –
