Bibione Bike&Hike

A single route, two regions crossed: after a short ride to reach the Tagliamento River, in fact, you will cross the natural border between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto on board the X-River boat pass. Once you reach the Venetian shore, via a cycle path, you arrive at the natural reserve area of ​​the Bibione lighthouse, to then walk along the paths that between the forest, river and sea allow you to discover this surprising coastal environment which is still perfectly preserved. An iconic and relaxing tour that takes you to explore Lignano and its hidden corners, essential to fully savor every nuance. We start by following the cycle path up to the unmistakable Red Lighthouse, from where you can appreciate a breathtaking view of the string of islands that separates the Adriatic from the lagoon, such as the Isola delle Conchiglie, an ideal base for kitesurfing. We will then move through the alleys of the dock area to take the raised cycle path that runs along the Marano Lagoon, admiring it in all its splendor, and finally arriving in Lignano Pineta, to discover its artistic and architectural beauties in the shade of the pine trees.

Lignano Bike&Hike excursion

A 100% sustainable proposal, which combines the bicycle with a second section on foot for a slow tour dedicated to exploring the natural environment of the Lignano peninsula, among pine forests, fossil dunes and the mouth of the Tagliamento river. After departure, this Bike&Hike includes a stop on the BellaItalia cycle path to admire the dunes along the coast; from there, we proceed towards Lignano Riviera passing through the pine forest and immersing ourselves in its resin scent. We then leave the bicycles towards the Tagliamento, for a short trek in the dune forest of Pineda Sinistra, a green area of ​​great landscape and floristic value with dunes that reach 6 meters in height, before getting back on the saddle to return to the Beach Village .

Lignano – Marano excursion by bike and boat

An ancient fishing village overlooking the lagoon, with a fascinating historic center with a strong Venetian architectural influence, Marano lagoon is a true jewel where time seems to have stopped. To reach it, this excursion from Lignano runs along the Tagliamento embankment up to Gorgo, to proceed towards the Stella river, crossing it on a cycle bridge and then entering the Muzzana woods, finally reaching Marano. Starting from the Beach Village, you cycle to the Darsena of Porto Vecchio in Lignano to embark for Grado, from where you continue by bicycle to Marano. Along the way, you will pass through centers of notable historical, architectural and cultural interest: Aquileia, a Roman-era city with an archaeological area of ​​exceptional importance which has earned it the title of UNESCO World Heritage Site, Strassoldo with its Castello di Sopra and Castello di Sotto, among the oldest manors in the region, and finally Torviscosa, a small town with early 20th century architecture built as a factory town. Once you arrive in Marano, you will return to Lignano by boat enjoying total relaxation.
