Ivan Zucco is the new Italian Supermedi champion: he won the belt that was vacant against the Apulian Luca Capuano this evening – Friday 16 April – at the Milan Boxing Night of the Allianz Cloud. The Verbanese professional beat his opponent by a technical knockout.
Twenty-five years old, raised with Boxe Verbania and now at Opi Since 1982, Zucco has obtained his 13th victory since being a professional in as many matches. The rival also arrived undefeated at the appointment with 11 successesi, but he stumbled in the first defeat against the Verbanese who was in great shape and who for months had been preparing this match with great meticulousness and attention and showed that he had an edge from the beginning and from the first minutes of the match. Capuano, however, reacted and proved to be able to play in a thrilling match, until he gave up and forfeited under the blows of the Verbanese.
