Brazil and Argentina fined by FIFA for fan brawl at Maracana

Brazil and Argentina have been fined by soccer’s international federation for brawling between their supporters before a World Cup qualifier in November. The FIFA disciplinary commission ordered Brazil to pay 50,000 francs (1.3 million crowns) and Argentina 20,000 francs (500 thousand crowns). Argentina was also fined 50,000 francs for other offences.
