Waltz of defenders in rossoblù: farewell to the Uruguayan, a new reinforcement arrives from Sassuolo
CAGLIARI. Cagliari Calcio announces that it has reached an agreement for the consensual termination of the contract with the footballer Diego Godin. On the island since September 2020, he made his debut in the rossoblù jersey in the away match against Atalanta, played on 4 October, scoring a goal. Godin contributed to the achievement of team results: he leaves Cagliari after having totaled 40 appearances.
The Club wishes him the best for the continuation of his career.
At the same time Cagliari announced the purchase of defender Edoardo Goldaniga from Sassuolo: the footballer, born in 1993, arrives in Sardinia on a permanent basis and has signed a contract until 30 June 2024.
