Stefano Chiesa, walker of the Hundred Towers. and Lucrezia Magistris, a weightlifter of the Pavese Gymnastics, are the last two athletes from Pavia with still some chance of participating in the Games. Chiesa, who trains in Lomello with Pietro Pastorini, two years ago had obtained the staff on km. 50 of march which was also valid as a minimum for Tokyo. The Federatletica, however, had asked to reconfirm that time and Stefano has not yet managed. Magistris is retiring with the national team, but despite shining also in the recent All star game in Rome, she has not managed to win gold in her category.
