The partnership between TvB and Volksbank confirmed. The dg Favaro: “It is assumed a reopening to 50% of the capacity”
/ TREVISO
After the wedding celebrated in 2017, Treviso Basket and Volksbank will happily continue their journey hand in hand also in the next season. The agreement was publicly signed yesterday in front of the headquarters of the Treviso branch of the Bolzano credit institution, which will pay TvB the sum of 100 thousand euros, against a total budget that for the biancoblù company is about 4 million and half a euro (increased compared to a year ago), naturally the result of the sponsors and the shares of the members of the UniVerso Treviso Consortium.
The figure will have to be sufficient for the management of the 2021-22 season and the related expenses, which with the market in full boil (the diesse Andrea Gracis is looking for the last two foreigners) and with the next European Champions League commitment it is natural that they are destined significantly to increase. A light of hope, which indeed must necessarily become a certainty, given that another year without fans is simply impossible, consists in the restoration of the season ticket campaign which, as everyone can imagine, will depend exclusively on the pandemic situation that we will have at the end of the summer. Treviso Basket in any case makes it known that it has both a plan A and, if necessary, a plan B ready. “There is talk of a reopening to 50% of the capacity – says the general manager Giovanni Favaro – we will see how we will be at the same level in September. of schools. In any case, the company, as soon as the government has communicated what it has established regarding the turnout, will be prepared to be ready to launch the season ticket campaign. And we will also be faster than usual. As for Volksbank, I would say that we are two companies that operate and care about the territory. The partnership has found its common thread, which has brought great mutual satisfaction, precisely in social commitment and in the involvement of families and young people. We are proud to carry the Volksbank brand again on our shirts and to continue our path of sharing positive values with a partner of absolute prestige ».
Speaking of the jerseys, which from next season will bear the new logo created by Studio Ottone after the relative contest held in May, they are being developed: they will not be seen in the Super Cup (in reference to which for some matches, given the clogging of the dates with the Champions League, De ‘Longhi will ask for a postponement to the Basketball League), their debut is expected instead against the London Lions – perhaps with the “bubble” right at Palaverde? – in the historical debut of TvB in Europe. We will know more on the 29th of this month, when the details of the rebranding will be explained in detail. Returning to the hoped-for return of the fans to Palaverde, it is clear that having the building with 2500 fans, or maybe even more, at each match, even better if for the most part subscribers, would constitute for the De ‘Longhi coffers, and clearly for every other society, a great and above all indispensable breath of fresh air.
This is why we are following with some apprehension the trend of infections, which today are slightly up. The return of the public to the matches would naturally help the team but, also and especially, the company finances. –
