During the first lap of the Austin Sprint Race, the Pertamina Enduro VR46 team rider was forced to retire due to the engine failure of his Ducati. For Diggia, who started from eighth position on the grid, this is the third retirement of the season: the Roman driver has not managed to cross the finish line in any of the three Sprints held so far (Lusail, Portimao and Austin).
