Expo Inox Parona 3 wins and 2 knockouts Now the going gets tough

Coach Zanellati: “We lose too many balls And then some of our young players are not at the top”

the point

After three victories in a row, two consecutive defeats came for Expo Inox Parona which lost at home to Milanotre and last Sunday at Opera with the last in the standings, throwing away the possibility of mortgaging, at least in part, access to the noble round of second phase. Indeed, now comes the complicated part of the first phase calendar for coach Alfonso Zanellati’s boys who comments on this moment: «At Opera we lost a match similar to the one thrown away seven days earlier with Milanotre. A first part of the race in which we took over and in which, in both cases, we gave the impression of being able to manage and win the game, was followed by a second part of the race in which the opponents resurfaced and we are relapsed into our usual problems. We let ourselves come back and overcome and in both cases we then lost in two point-to-point finals ».

The problems to which coach Alfonso Zanellati refers are various, but connected with each other: “We continue to be not very fluid, we still struggle to play together as a team, we resort to several forcing with counterproductive results”, says the technical expert who then he continues in the analysis of the things that are still not working: «Certainly, as with Milanotre, too many turnovers weigh a lot, from which counter-attacks or easy shots for the opponents often start. And to this we must add that some of our young people are not at the top at the moment. I am referring above all to Muzio and Invernizzi who, among other things, are the most experienced of our young people ».

The calendar does not help and on Sunday he sends Expo Inox still away, this time on the field of Busto Arsizio: «Busto is a team that, on paper, was built to win the championship. It would take an enterprise, we did half of it against Saronno, so never say never and start off beaten, even knowing that this time the obstacle is really very high ».

Serie C Gold, Green group ranking after five days: Esse Solar Gallarate, Coelsanus 7 Laghi Gazzada Schianno points 8; AB Oil & Service Busto Arsizio, Sporting Milanotre, Expo Inox Mortara, Robur Saronno 6; Nervianese Invalves 4; Varese Academy Conforama, Baj Valceresio Arcisate, Deltaline Opera 2. –
