The home derby with the ambitious Varzi comes at a delicate moment for the Accademia Pavese. Mister Molluso has to do without the starting goalkeeper Allio, replaced by Di Mango, and the central defensive Bernini: Tomassone will play in his place. Probable the choice of a defensive line to 5 with Filadelfia that should lead the back ward; in midfield the Castillo-Provasio-Maggi trio, in front of the rings-Dioh couple; the only ballot could be the one between Casiroli and Filadelfia, with the choice of the first one would go from 5-3-2 to 4-4-2. The red and white, penultimate at 10, are looking for points to fuel their race for salvation, in a ranking position close to Gavirate and Rhodense in the play out area.
In the Varzi, in the end the absentees are “only” three: Grasso, Scarcella and Orrico. Ruggieri and Franceschinis, on the other hand, struggling with physical problems, have always trained during the week and therefore are included in the squad list. However, Varzi will not be at their best in the derby. Mister Pagano will have to make up for the heaviest absences, the one in attack by bomber Grasso (9 goals in the league, like the other striker, Pizzini) injured in a friendly match and in defense of the central Scarcella, disqualified like Orrico. In all likelihood, the chosen ones in their place will be two young people, Citterio (born in 2000) and Calloni (1999). Varzi should take the field with 3-4-1-2. The three central defenders will act in front of Murriero. In addition to Calloni who will replace the suspended Scarcella, the department will be led by the expert Gnaziri, with the use of the under Lopane (2002). In midfield Rebuscini in the direction with a ballot between Monopoli and the Brazilian Wagner. On the exteriors there should be the former Mazzocca on the left and on the right Iervolino or June (also the latter former Academy). Behind the strikers Crea (or Iervolino) and Pizzini’s shoulder attack will be the young Citterio.—
