From Rold, it will be an iron group. In Pineto the longest trip

by admin

Teams from all over the North, then two from Emilia and down along the Adriatic ridge. Coach Poletto: “Watch out for the Marche and Abruzzo”. The start on 10 October

BELLUNO.Group White with fourteen teams for Da Rold Logistics, newly promoted to Serie A3. The men’s Volleyball Belluno will compete in the group of central-northern Italy (only one surprise: Abba Pineto from Abruzzo, “a very structured team”, warns coach Poletto) and will debut on Sunday 10 October.

Compared to last year, in A3, the Triveneto loses four teams: UniTrento (whose rights have however passed to the Volleyball Belluno), Bolzano (which has sold the title to Marcianise) and the newly promoted to the A2 series Porto Viro and Motta . For the people of Belluno, therefore, there will be only three trips to the Northeast: Montecchio Maggiore, Pordenone and San Donà di Piave, to which are added – barely encroaching on the Emilian territory – those in Portomaggiore (Ferrara) and Bologna. The trips in the North West are much longer: to Brugherio (province of Monza and Brianza), Garlasco (Pavia), Turin and Savigliano (Cuneo). Even more, those along the Adriatic ridge: in Fano, Macerata, Grottazzolina (in the province of Fermo) and, the most distant, Pineto (Teramo).

The word to the coach

«Pineto», explains the coach of Da Rold Belluno, the reconfirmed Diego Poletto, «is a very structured team. It was drawn in the White group, that of Northern Italy, and it is certainly a team that can make a difference. But in general I would say that this is a tough group ».

The Gialloblù coach has already documented his opponents: «I talked to some colleagues and friends who follow this championship carefully», Poletto continues, «and I received news of several fairly structured teams. In addition to Pineto, certainly Fano, probably Macerata, without Portomaggiore beam. Prata has rejuvenated a lot, while Montecchio has taken on a player like Natale Monopoli, 46 years old but spent in the Super League. Brugherio, last year, had a good team of young people and we will have to see what he will do this year. Grottazzolina should also set up a good squad and great attention must also be paid to Turin, which is normally a very mangy opponent ».
